Throne of the North Atlantic

Description
At the southernmost tip of Ireland, in the vicinity of Cape Clear Island, there are a number of smaller, less-inhabited islands, essentially little more than large outcroppings of rock. It is within this emerald archipelago that we have found it: a fully grown Great World Serpent, Thalassogigas jormungandri, basking in the sun, likely digesting a large, recent meal. From a distance, we initially mistook the beast for the scattered sea rocks it had been resting on. It was only when the creature shifted its enormous weight to inspect us, that we had realized what we were actually observing. The serpent lay perched on an elevated stone outcropping, as if overlooking its domain.
